A student cycled thousands of miles from the UK to Gaza to raise money for burns victims there – only to be refused entry at the border.
Nottingham student Gearoid O’Cuinn cycled with a group from the UK to the Middle East, but was turned away by Israeli authorities at the Gaza border.

However Mr O’Cuinn said the trip had been worthwhile as the team received donations as it rode across Europe.
The team is still calculating how much it raised.
Mr O’Cuinn said the generosity of people along the route had impressed the team and people in villages had come out to help the riders and provide money.
