Israeli forces detain student from Nablus
Nablus, Ma'an , 28 June 2009

Israeli forces detained a Palestinian young man after an Israeli patrol stopped his car for inspection in the northern West Bank on Sunday morning.

Witnesses told Ma’an that 22-year-old Usayd Shafiq Kharraz, a student at An-Najah University in Nablus was travelling in a Mercedes on Al-Badan road along with friends before an Israeli patrol stopped the car for inspection and detained Kharraz.

The young man was taken to an unknown destination, and it was not immediately clear if he was suspected by Israel of having committed a crime.
