- Begin or join already organized campaigns in your country in support of
the Right to Education Campaign at Birzeit University.

Sign statements demanding free access for students and faculty to Birzeit
University and all other educational institutions in the Palestinian
territory, enforcement of the Fourth Geneva Convention and international
humanitarian law, and protection for the Palestinian population. The Birzeit
Appeal posted on this page can be used for this purpose or you can write
your own. We request that you do not sign our appeal and send it to us.
The most effective actions are ones that are built country by country --
reach your national representatives and then reach the Israeli government.
- Join with others within your national campaign to send signed statements
in support of Birzeit University to academic unions and organizations, to
government officials and relevant Ministries as well as to your local press
and media.
- Meet with your government representatives to ask for their direct
intervention with the Israeli government to remove the Birzeit-Ramallah
checkpoint as a first step in restoring Palestinian educational and civil
life and preserving and sustaining Palestinian institutions.
- Support campus disinvestments and sanction campaigns against Israeli state
institutions until Israel stops its grave violations of international
humanitarian law.
