Jenin – Ma’an – Israeli troops detained dozens of students for several hours at a military checkpoint erected near Seida village southwest of Jenin on Wednesday afternoon.

Locals said troops were checking civilian’s identity papers and taking aside every student they came across, holding them at the flying checkpoint in the northern West  Bank.

No arrests or detentions were reported, and witnesses said it appeared all those pulled from cars were released by evening.

The Israeli military had no immediate comment on the incident.
