The Right to Education Campaign partnered with the Faculty of Humanities and College of Business and Economics Decolonisation Committee at the University of Johannesburg (UJ) invite you for a collaborative hybrid dialogue between academics and students from Birzeit University in Occupied Palestine and Nelson Mandela University (NMU), the University of Pretoria (UP) and the University of the Witwatersrand (WITS) in South Africa.

OVERVIEW

This initial dialogue aims to explore the profound intersectionality between the Palestinian struggle and the legacy of Apartheid South Africa. Featuring academics and student voices from NMU, UJ, WITS, UP in South Africa and Birzeit University in Occupied Palestine, this webinar will lay the groundwork for understanding contemporary colonial events and connecting our shared struggles.
