Right 2 Education Week: Day One

It’s finally here! #R2Eweek has got off with a great start here at BZU, with a talk by Addameer Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association and the opening of the photo exhibition.

We wish everyone who is participating today the best of luck with their events. These include:

  • Information stalls and film screening of Tears of Gaza at Manchester University Action Palestine, UK
  • Spreading the word at the University of Birmingham Students for Justice in Palestine, UK
  • Information stands and photo exhibitions with Til Palestina at NTNU, Norway
  • A talk at the London School of Economics by the Palestine Society and UN Society on education in Palestinian refugee camps. Featuring first hand perspectives and joint with other University of London colleges.
  • NUIG Galway Ireland Palestine Solidarity Society are holding a film screening of Remember Palestine: Gaza Educational System this evening.
  • Information stalls at Leeds University Union by the Palestine Solidarity Group
  • A general meeting at Rutgers NB Students for Justice in Palestine featuring speakers from LEAP and Project HOPE.
  • Edinburgh Students for Justice in Palestine are holding a mock checkpoint outside their library, alongside their weekly meeting dedicated to #R2Eweek this week
